Here’s our story...
Institut Teknologi Pertama (Pertama Institute of Technology)
Institut Teknologi Pertama (ITP) was established in 1986 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and was taken under the wings of the Legenda Group of Education in 2002. ITP then moved into a new and integrated campus in Mantin, Negeri Sembilan along with two other Colleges and one University-College. In 2015, ITP was acquired by the KTG Education Group and continues to excel as a branch under its new ownership offering programmes in four major areas: Engineering, Information Technology, Built Environment & Architecture, and Business & Accounting.
Since establishment, ITP emerged as the first college in Malaysia to offer Edexcel Higher Education Diploma in 1991, thus pioneering in the higher education of technical and vocational studies in Malaysia. ITP charged ahead further in collaborating its degree programmes with established universities in the United Kingdom such as University of East London (UEL) and Conventry University. At present, ITP offers engineering and accounting under-graduate programmes and a post-graduate programme in IT with Leeds Beckett University and University of Bolton, UK. With much pride, we acknowledge our students for their outstanding achievements in Engineering and Architecture projects, which they have been awarded through their participation in local and international competitions with the guidance of our dedicated and top-class academic staff.
